Earlier this year, we invited local makers, creators, entrepreneurs, and innovators to share their passions and skills with Ilford through residencies in a brand-new space for use by the local community.

Thank you to everyone who applied for a residency. We received an overwhelming response and have awarded 7 residencies running from April 2022 – March 2023.

Later this month, we will be opening the doors to The Spark Lab, designed by Jan Kattein Architects, at the former Dorothy Perkins and Burton Store at 120-122 Ilford High Street (also known as ‘The Deco Building).

Wilderness Street

Have you been watching the transformation on Oakfield Road these past few weeks?

Launching this month, Wilderness Street is an exciting new outdoor oasis for the local community to experience.

Designed by Jan Kattein Architects, the space advocates for the preservation of ancient natural landscapes and their role in maintaining biodiversity and supporting well-being.

We have prepared a range of interactive events programmed throughout Summer ’22 that encourage creativity, connectivity, and collaboration at Wilderness Street.
